About the Amba Method

Women’s Embodiment Circle

Sunday January 21, 2024 6-7:30 pm at Love Bird Yoga in Redmond, OR

The power of women gathering is immeasurable

Do you ever feel:

– crunchy and tense in your body?

– that your body is permanently in rush and stress mode?

– like you can’t ever fully relax, soften and truly rest?

– wired and tired, or less vital than you’d like to be?

The relentless stress of the time we’re living in is real. These monthly women’s embodiment circles offer nourishing practices to un-crunch, soften, ground into yourself, and deeply replenish. Learn to move with softness and ease in a safe and sacred, women-only space. Carving out the time to slow down and come home to your body is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. All women of all ages are welcome into our circle. No previous movement experience is needed.

FAQs

  • Amba workshops are non-refundable, so please choose carefully.

  • This event is accessible for women of all abilities, ages, and fitness levels. During the movement practice, you’ll be going at your pace and finding your natural movement. In Amba we don’t do specific moves, but instead, we move from the inside out. Our evening together will be well balanced between movement, breath, the Deep Nourishment practice, and connecting with one another.

  • If you have movement experience, that’s great but it’s not necessary at all!

  • Embodiment practices are similar to yoga in that we explore breath and movement. One key difference in the Amba Method is that we are working with fluid movement and the elements of Nature: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Space. If you enjoy yoga, you’ll likely love Amba!
