This month in the Amba Community

We are so grateful to have you here in the Amba Community!

May Updates:

  • Not sure where to start? Check out the intro course “Getting Started with the Amba Community.”
  • This is a new-ish community and website, and we’re super proud to share it with you! Like all new endeavors, we’ll probably run into a few kinks as we get fully up and running. As a founding Amba member, we’d so appreciate your kind and constructive feedback. If you run into any issues at all, have suggestions for improvement, or generally just have something nice to say, we’d love to hear it all! Please drop us a note here.
  • Our theme of the month for May is bones:

We will drop into the spirit and mana within our bones.

“In Hawaii, many people believe that bones (Iwi) are an extension of a person’s mana (spiritual power) and are therefore very sacred. Unlike blood and flesh, which decay upon death, bones symbolize immortality.” – Katherine Becker, from Mana Cards

Embodiment circles

Our weekly Embodiment Circles are one of the best ways to keep engaged with the Amba Community and consistently practice connecting with your body and spirit. We encourage all members to join every week if you can!

If you can’t make the live class, that’s okay too – we’ll post recordings of every class here so you can access and do them on your own time.

All are virtual via Zoom. Please review the guidelines prior to joining to ensure the best experience for everyone.

Doors open 15 minutes before each Embodiment Circle. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to give yourself time to settle into the space, set your intention, breathe slowly, and perhaps pour yourself some tea. Remember that that we dive in promptly at the start time, and our doors close when we begin.

We offer TWO weekly class times:

  • Tuesday, 6–7:30pm PT
  • Wednesday, 12–1:30pm PT

Amba Salón

Amba Salóns are our regular community gathering, and always include a workshop or guided practice with a different theme each month, followed by a ‘fireside chat’ community sharing and discussion. Brew and bring your favorite tea or other cozy beverage. These events are for Amba Community members and their guests only.

Our next Amba Salón will be in May. Check back soon for more details!

Join the Zoom here! (check back soon for the link)

As part of your membership, you may invite up to 5 guests to join us for free! Simply send them this link to register as a guest. Amba Community members don’t need to register – just show up!

Class recordings

Can’t make the live Embodiment Circles? That’s okay! We post the recordings here every week so you can enjoy them on your own time.

Membership FAQs

  • The fruits of your embodiment practice flow out of consistency over time. We don’t pause community memberships, but you can cancel anytime after your first 3 months. We need 30 days notice to cancel.

  • We’re always here for you if you want to come back to receiving the nourishment of an embodied community of like-minded women and support for cultivating a consistent practice. Your rate when you rejoin will be whatever it is at that time. If you choose to keep your current membership, you’ll have that rate locked in forever.

  • Membership includes all the tools that you need to develop a regular practice that helps you to deepen your connection with yourself, your body, your heart, and with the divine. These tools include weekly live streamed embodiment circles, recordings to all past circles via your account dashboard, monthly members-only events, Amba online courses, unlimited access to resources and practices, priority registration to retreats and special events, exclusive discounts, and more!

  • There are many great benefits to upgrading from a monthly to yearly account, including discounted pricing (15% off) and the simplicity of paying only once a year vs. every month. Members on a yearly account also enjoy a sense of commitment to the Amba Practice that helps them show up for themselves regularly.

That being said, we completely understand that for budgeting reasons, a month-to-month payment plan might work better for you.

Please watch the video below to learn how to switch your account between monthly and yearly billing.

  • Presence is such an important element of connecting deeply with yourself, the divine, and our community. While we know that life is hectic at times, we ask that you have you camera on at the beginning of the session for our welcome circle and for our closing circle so that we can see you and feel you, and you can be supported. You don’t need to have your camera on for the embodiment practice time – that’s completely up to you!

  • We love supporting mamas in their practice, and we believe that children and families are a vital source of love life energy. Presence and connecting to source energy aren’t just about what happens when we’re alone and in an isolated solo practice. Learning to stay grounded and connected in the midst of life activities can be incredibly valuable. You’re welcome to have your children around. Just please make sure you’re muted and when it’s your turn to share, and wear headphones.

  • It’s central to our ethos to create a safe, sacred space for you to unravel, drop inside, and express your experience authentically. For that reason, rest assured that none of our sharing at the end of our circle is recorded to protect your privacy and the sanctuary of our space.

  • The annual membership is designed to honor your commitment to devoting a year to deepening your connection with yourself and consistently showing up for your sacred practice.

Please make your choice carefully for the annual membership, as there are no refunds, transfers, or pauses to this membership option. It’s a yearlong commitment, paid in full.

  • 1:1 support isn’t included with the membership. If you’re looking for a more customized experience and receive personal support and feedback, you can explore options for 1:1 mentorship with Meghan or The Lodge.

  • Our weekly circles are a core element of developing a consistent embodiment practice and providing a space for you to be consistently held as part of this alive community. When you become a member you’ll have easy access to your personal portal within which you’ll find all Zoom links and information to join. In case you can’t make it to the live circles, you’ll have unlimited access to all circle recordings within your portal.

  • First of all, we’re so happy to hear this. If you’re looking for a deeper offering, check out The Lodge and Mentorship.

  • Friends, neighbors, your mom, your sister, your daughter. The women in your life who are longing for a supportive space to come home to their body, connect deeply within, and be around other like-minded women. A friendly reminder that within the Amba Community all of our events are a safe and sacred women-only space.

As an Amba Member, you’ll be able to invite up to 5 guests each month to the Amba Salóns. We’ll share the link to that guest registration soon – please check back later.
