I’ve been quiet for a few months, and I want to let you in on what’s been going on. For the last 18 months, I’ve been working in a way that’s been slowly disconnecting me from my body.
And while that’s the very opposite of what I teach, I got swept up in the pressure to produce. This was in part due to the advice from my business mentors, but mostly because I felt called:
After working closely with clients to help them drop their struggle with food, and seeing how their transformation rippled out into every aspect of their lives, I wanted to help as many women as I could.
It was hard to know that so many women are suffering through lives that look beautiful from the outside, but when it comes to their relationship with their body, they’re stuck in a miserable battle. This was me for over 20 years, so this particular shame cycle and incessant inner battle is a suffering I know intimately.
I was moved to help as many women as possible enjoy the same interior freedom and sheer delight in their bodies that I’ve found. But my enthusiasm got the best of me, and I started moving faster than my body could keep up with, which is the very thing I teach women not to do.
After a sequence of hard-learned lessons, it was undeniable that I was getting cosmically redirected.
As I step back in here to share with you after a ruthlessly refining and mercifully poetic season, everything’s coming full circle to the very calling that birthed Amba in the first place, and is now more alive than ever in the fire of my heart.
I’m still providing private mentorship that specifically helps you drop the food struggle, if that’s you. But peace with food is one part of a much fuller picture of what I’m here to share:
Your body is holy ground.
While this is a lovely idea that rings true for so many of us, I’m only interested in sharing concepts to the extent that they can be lived. And I believe that in some way, we’re all yearning to experience the holiness of our bodies, even if that quest is showing up as a pattern that we’re not proud of.
Here’s the thing:
No matter what you tend to reach for in the moment you’re overwhelmed or exhausted, whether that’s something sweet, a drink, your phone, or a Netflix show, there’s always a craving beneath the craving: To be nourished from the inside, and to feel profoundly at home in your body.
That’s what I’m going to be sharing with you here, on a weekly basis.
In this first video, I walk you through 3 simple steps to start experiencing Your Body is Holy Ground as a felt reality, not just another nice-sounding nugget of wisdom that sits on idle on a shelf. Watch it here.
Every week, I’ll be sharing new ways to experience your body as the divine vessel it is, and break the patterns that are getting in your way.
Love,
Meghan
